312 arc welding rods are suitable for difficult to weld steels and dissimilar joints between stainless and high carbon steel, tool steel or manganese. 312 stick electrodes offer a high level of crack resistance making them suitable for structural repairs & moulds. Often referred to as a 29/9, they are typically utilised when the metal grade is indeterminable.
