Junior Service Engineer

Foster Industrial are looking for an ambitions and self-motivated Junior Service Engineer to join our East Midlands based service department. The role would be supported with comprehensive training, so ideal for an individual wanting start a career as a service engineer and ambitious to get to the top of their profession.

• Calibration and service of welding plant and associated equipment (on and off site).
• Assembly and commissioning of new welding plant and associated equipment ready for sales to customers.
• Make up and assembly of welding ancillaries (earth leads/cable assembles etc.).
• Repair of MIG, TIG & Arc welding equipment.
• Repair of plasma cutting machines.

• Online/day release for base electrical training.
• In house training by experienced engineers.
• Manufacturer/Partner support programs (OEM training).

• Interest in mechanics/electronics.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work to a tight schedule.
• Drive to improve and keen to learn.
• GCSE Grades (C or above / 4 or above) in English, Science and Mathematics.
• Full UK driving license.
