Which stainless steel TIG filler rod should you buy?

308 : Suitable for welding stainless grade 18/8, 304, austentic steels. Has good corrosion resistance.

309 : Designed for welding stainless steel to mild steel and low alloyed steels and offers the opportunity to lay buffer layers. Called a disimmilar & gives corrosion resistance.

310 ; For welding heat resistant austentic steels akin to 25Cr-20Ni. Provides excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures.

316 : Perfect for welding low carbon & Cr-Ni steels, 316 type material. Offers a mirror like finish.
