Welding Equipment Calibration

Why calibration of Welding Machines matters

Calibration of your welding equipment is essential in insuring the weld procedures undertaken by your machine are accurate.
As a rule, the calibration of the MIG & TIG welding equipment ammeters and voltmeters is a requirement, where the quality of the weld is dependent on repeatable elements such as current & voltage.

Calibrations are normally carried out an annual basis or when welding machines are commissioned as new.

Our Service Offering

Operating primarily across the Midlands, Foster Industrial have a team of three engineers, with over sixty years experience, who will visit your premises and calibrate your welding equipment to BS EN IEC 60974-14. This will assist you in meeting ISO 9000 quality requirements and also form part of the conformance needed to satisfy BS EN 1090 structural steel CE marking.

Every client is issued with a calibration certificate for each welding machine, cataloging the readings of the equipment subjected to inspection & test. Our service team will remind you when the next certification becomes due & schedule an engineer accordingly.
