Use dry clean air :free from moisture & oil. 2. Good earth connection:clean area from rust,paint,scale where the earth clamp is fitted. 3. Correct travel speed:slow speed =wide cut or plasma stops&fast speed=not cutting all material. 4. Correct angle of torch:cut with torch head at 90 degrees to plate. 5. Gouging:a full face visor must be used to protect from a ray burned face (painful!!) 6. Always use genuine hypertherm spares for consistency and long life.
