This will be the fifth year that Fi has demonstrated it's range of welding products at the ever popular farming machinery shows.
Swift-cut make debut at MACH 2012 show-02/04/2012
UK manufacturer Swift-Cut Automation have launched a new range of plasma cutting machines that are generating significant interest across many market sectors. There are two machines, one with a 4'x4' table and the larger unit having an 8'x4' cutting table. Dependant on the choice of plasma source, metals up to 20mm thick can be cut accurately to virtually any 2D shape.
There are optional additions to the base product that include a water table to reduce fumes (if required), and a pendant control for "at the machine" accurate positioning.
Swift-Cut recognised the demand for a lower priced CNC machine from companies who have a need for automated cutting but cannot justify spending upwards of £30/40,000. The target Market is primarily engineering companies, fabrication workshops, agricultural operators and the education sector.
The Swift-Cut 84 (8'x4' cutting area) is keenly priced at under £13,000 plus VAT so now accurate plasma cutting is affordable for the smaller operator. It comes complete with a hypertherm 45 plasma unit and is pre loaded CAD/CAM pc ready to start producing components. On site training is part of the package.
The machines are commissioned by the distributors engineers throughout the UK so are fully supported in all respects of maintenance and consumables.
Swift-Cut have chosen Hypertherm as the plasm source manufacturer.
